The Poshpatri Bhandara, organized by Shree Pashupati Nath Delhi, offers a wide range of facilities to ensure comfort and support for all pilgrims during the yatra.
Electricity at the Bhandara premises is fully self-sustained through Hydro Electric Turbines, along with backup from generators, inverters, and solar power systems. Communication facilities like STD and PCO are available via Satellite Phone and GSM network in coordination with BSNL.
Free hot and fresh meals are served to all yatris at the Bhandara. Essential items such as shoes, woollen socks, caps, jackets, and clothing are also distributed free of cost to those in need.
In addition, free food and accommodation are provided to pitthoo (porters), palki bearers, and pony owners, ensuring support for everyone involved in the yatra.
Pashupati Nath is strategically located between Sheshnag and Panchtarni, approximately 6 km from each point. It is known as one of the highest altitude Bhandaras and is considered among the largest in India, powered entirely by self-generated electricity through hydro systems managed by dedicated sewadars.
